We work with governments to improve the formal Courts and Tribunal systems by improving and innovating access to justice, enhancing case management, and developing the use of mediation.

BUSINESS & LABOUR SYSTEMS

We work with government, organised business, various industries and labour to develop and support systems that effective prevent / manage / resolve commercial, trade and labour disputes through improved relationships, redesigned business processes, and innovative systems that use ADR – such as workplace mediation.

REGIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

We work with stakeholders in Regional Economic Communities to develop and improve systems that enhance regional integration by harmonising laws, resolving cross-border disputes, and eliminating non-tariff barriers to trade.

CLAIMS, GRIEVANCE & ODR

We design, develop and implement bespoke claims and grievance systems, and assist with the development and adoption of online dispute resolution [ODR] systems.

NATURAL RESOURCE USE

We work with government and civil society to develop and improve systems that improve decision-making on natural resource allocation, and that manage and resolve conflict resulting from resource use and/or development.

COMMUNITY SYSTEMS

We work in community structures, schools, churches to enhance their understanding of collaborative dispute resolution, to develop community-based dispute resolution capacity, and to resolve intractable disputes.

TRADITIONAL 
SYSTEMS

We work with communities and government to enhance the use of traditional conflict management principles and practices in modern systems.

COMPANY-COMMUNITY 
SYSTEMS

The interaction between companies and the communities within which they operate (e.g. mining operations, forestry, etc) is often contentious and volatile. We work with communities and businesses to improve mutual understanding and relationships, to establish channels of communication and grievance mechanisms, and to align long term goals. This ensures stability, and mutual beneficial interaction.

TRANSFORMATION

We work with businesses, government departments and communities that are in transition to contain, reduce and resolve the conflict caused by the transition process, through process management, expectation management, relationship development and effective dispute resolution.

INTRA-INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEMS

We work with businesses and government departments to improve their business processes so that they more effectively prevent, manage, and resolve disputes in their sphere of operations, and to improve relationships and culture that cause conflict in their environment.
